Finally,It starts.
The International circuit in UAE.
Al Ain Int 2 * show is the first to start, for next weekend jumping to the Int 4* also in Al Ain.
Al ain has the best surface conditions and superb flood light, which does not give shadows that are important for the horses to not feel the difference from daylight to nightlight. Shadows can allow the horse to take off from the shadow “wrong distance “and not from the rider’s signals, which can lead at worst to unfortunate outcomes.
Alain has also nice bigg fixed boxes for the horse. resturants, transportable cafes and tack shop. All show locations in the UAE have top facilities, sea boots, heavy stable shoes and winter jacket, are not required to get to the venue.?❤
This year we have a fantastic team together, which really gives me new strength to continue riding and to spend a couple of years more in the saddle, but UAE with international competitions only 3 months a year, for than be back to Europe to compeet I do not want to,why? I will tell you when I finish the circuit of international shows.
Maybe I should write a book, i think it had become a nice adventure book!!!!??
I had a serious fall from the horse 3 weeks ago, “Thanks to amazing expertise at the UAE hospital i was fast on my feet again”this fall put me a bit out and I have not got ridden as much as I wanted to lately, it was quite my own mistake, I got too hot in the jump off and took the wrong desition, something that happens in high speed, and of course it sets its traces both in body and mind for a while.
Training and right mindset is needed to get over it,to ride so relaxed but concentrated again as before the fall ,our sport is ruff but nothing can be compared to it.
I wish for luck this season.
Thank you for reading.
Hugs from me to you.
Anita
